The Los Angeles Dodgers will give away a Yoshinobu Yamamoto-inspired bobblehead Tuesday, and fans can’t wait to get their hands on one.
The Dodgers collaborated with Nintendo to create a bobblehead depicting Yoshi in Yamamoto’s uniform to promote “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” which comes out Wednesday. Fans began lining up outside of Dodger Stadium hours before the game for the chance to obtain the figure. The first 40,000 ticketed fans to enter the gates will get the collectible, with a one item per person limit.
With first pitch approaching, tickets for the game are going for a minimum $160 on MLB Tickets—a steep price considering the game falls on a Tuesday. The promotion is clearly desirable to fans, though, with several of them already listing the figure for resale on auction sites.
The bobblehead is available on StockX at $230 ahead of the game, and presale listings on eBay range from $187-$240. Fans planning to attend the game make these listings before arriving at the stadium, and ship out the items after procuring them at the game.
Fans won’t have to feel too left out if they miss this promo, though, as the Dodgers have plenty of other promotions coming in the next month. Goods like a Shohei Ohtani bobblehead, Hello Kitty hoodie, Roki Sasaki bobblehead and more set to hit Dodger Stadium in April.

Who Do the Dodgers Play on Tuesday?
The Dodgers will continue their six-game home stand Tuesday, playing the second game of a three-game set against the visiting Cleveland Guardians.
LA dropped the opening game of the series, 4-2, falling just short after a ninth-inning rally. Shohei Ohtani—not Yamamoto—will pitch for the Dodgers on Tuesday, making his first start of the season for LA.
The Dodgers are currently leading the NL West, and are the only team in the division with a .500 record or better. They’ll look to ride a strong performance from the reigning MVP to bounce back from their loss yesterday and put even more space between themselves and their competitors early in the season. First pitch for their game against the Guardians comes at 7:10 p.m. PT.
