“Baby Vesia coming soon, we are beyond excited for this next chapter!” the couple wrote in a caption on Instagram.
Vesia joined the Dodgers in 2021 when he was sent to L.A. as part of a trade package from the Miami Marlins. In 2024, Vesia was one of the Dodgers’ most effective relievers producing a 1.76 ERA and 87 strikeouts over 66.1 innings.
In seven postseason appearances — four of which were in the World Series — Vesia had an ERA of 0.00 with six strikeouts, two walks, and a save in Game 2 of the Fall Classic.
This season, Vesia has a 2.25 ERA with 13 strikeouts in eight games thus far. The left-hander is poised to replicate his stellar performance from 2024. Just a few months after becoming a World Series champion, Vesia will earn a new title.
Dodgers Nation offers its congratulations to the Vesia’s and their soon-to-be family of three!
