Dodgers Announce New Shohei Ohtani Bobblehead Night, And It Features a Big Surprise

The Los Angeles Dodgers have announced a new Shohei Ohtani Bobblehead Night.

On Aug. 28, the Dodgers will be giving away a second Ohtani bobblehead when the team welcomes the Baltimore Orioles into Dodger Stadium — but this one isn’t just Ohtani.

This Ohtani bobblehead features Ohtani holding his dog, Decoy. The nameplate reads “Shohei & Decoy.”

Here’s a first look at the bobblehead:

Ohtani’s first bobblehead night drew an incredible 53,527 fans, which was the largest regular season attendance since Sept. 2019.

The Dodgers gave away 40,000 bobbleheads, with a select few of them being Ohtani in his road gray jerseys. Those bobbleheads went for incredible prices on the resale market, and now, there will be a new bobblehead set to make waves.

  1. Shohei is now a true Dodger. He has let us into his life and we love him. He has movie star looks and a sincere kindness. He is destined for great things. Watching him play is like no other. #17 will go down in baseball history. I feel privileged to be able to watch him play.
