The Los Angeles Dodgers made some big changes to the lineup ahead of their series finale against the Seattle Mariners Thursday.
Shohei Ohtani will sit out for the Dodgers, with Kiké Hernandez moving into the lineup. The Dodgers enter Thursday’s game fresh off of a win on Wednesday, during which Eric Lauer shut down the Mariners’ offense—allowing just one hit and no runs over the course of six innings.
If the Dodgers win Thursday’s game, they’ll have won all four of their series since the All-Star break.
Who is Pitching for the Dodgers?
Roki Sasaki will start the series finale for the Dodgers, and will look to maintain his hot streak following the All-Star break. He has made two starts since the Midsummer Classic, allowing just one earned run through 12.2 innings pitched.
On the year, Sasaki has a 4.71 ERA, striking out 94 batters through 93.2 innings pitched.
Who is in the Dodgers’ Lineup?
The Dodgers completely revamped their lineup with Ohtani out, as second baseman Tommy Edman is batting leadoff tonight. Andy Pages remains in the No. 2 spot in center field, followed by first baseman Freddie Freeman and third baseman Max Muncy.
Shortstop Mookie Betts bats fifth, with Kyle Tucker moving up to the No. 6 spot. Teoscar Hernandez fills in as the designated hitter and bats seventh, followed by Dalton Rushing in the No. 8 spot. Rounding out the lineup is Hernandez, who is making his first start since returning from the IL.

Who is Pitching for the Mariners?
The Dodgers will face Bryan Woo on Wednesday, looking to capitalize on the right-hander’s rough form over the past couple of months. Woo has a 4.37 ERA, which is a big step down from the 2.94 mark he posted during his All-Star campaign last season.
He has a 5.63 ERA this month, allowing 12 runs—10 earned—through 16 innings pitched.
The Dodgers have struggled in the final game of the series this month, losing five times in the last game of the set. They’ll hope to change their luck in Thursday’s matchup, which begins at 7:10 p.m. PT.

Glad to see Edman in the leadoff spot. He puts the ball in play and gets on base.
I thought the DH always led off Roberts. Are you out of your mind? Or did someone finally talk some since into you. Not a Roberts fan here.
