The Los Angeles Dodgers shuffled around their lineup for the final game of a three-game series against the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday.
The Dodgers won the first game of the series with a walk-off from Dalton Rushing, but fell in the second game of the series after a rough offensive display. They’ll look to take the series Sunday and become the first team to reach 50 wins this season.
Who is Pitching for the Dodgers?
Emmet Sheehan will make his 13th start of the season for the Dodgers, and will hope to improve on what has been a rough month. Sheehan has lost all three of his starts in June, though they aren’t exactly his fault. He has had a noticeable lack of run support in two of those three starts, and has held his opponents to three or less runs in all three outings.
He has a season ERA of 4.76 this season, and has struck out 72 batters in 64.1 innings pitched.
Who is in the Dodgers’ Lineup?
Shohei Ohtani will lead off for the Dodgers, and is playing his second game since returning from paternity leave Saturday. Center fielder Andy Pages has made a home for himself at the No. 2 spot in the order, and first baseman Freddie Freeman follows him.
Shortstop Mookie Betts continues to bat cleanup, and third baseman Max Muncy reenters the order for the Dodgers. Right fielder Kyle Tucker will look to redeem himself in the No. 6 spot after a rough strikeout to end the game Saturday, and left fielder Ryan Ward will bat after him. Second baseman Alex Freeland bats eighth, and catcher Chuckie Robinson gives Rushing an off day while rounding out the lineup.

Dodgers’ Lineup vs. Orioles Sunday
1. Shohei Ohtani, DH
2. Andy Pages, CF
3. Freddie Freeman, 1B
4. Mookie Betts, SS
5. Max Muncy, 3B
6. Kyle Tucker, RF
7. Ryan Ward, LF
8. Alex Freeland, 2B
9. Chuckie Robinson, C
P. Emmet Sheehan, RHP
Who is Starting for the Orioles?
Right-hander Brandon Young is starting for the Orioles, and he is quietly having a solid season in his second year in the majors. He has made 11 starts for the Orioles so far, posting a 3.18 ERA in 62.1 innings. He doesn’t strike out many batters, having just 44 on the year, but as the Dodgers have seen with Justin Wrobleski, that’s not always an indicator of a pitcher’s value.
The Dodgers will look to jump on him early and secure a series win on Sunday.

I am still fretting about last nights game. Kyle Tucker is making 60 million + per year, and in all honesty is having one of the WORST seasons of his career. He was totally outmatched in the 9th inning last night, swinging at pitches that are way out of the strike zone. I realize that he has an opt out of his contract after 2 years. To bad the Dodgers dont have an opt out after 2 years because this guy is a complete waste. Three strikeouts last night. To pay someone 60 million with his lack of power and swing and miss, might be one of the worst free agent signings in Dodger history. Sorry but come on.
You could feel the air leaving the stadium last night when Tucker’s music hit in the 9th.
Michael Conforto 2.0?
Agree with all of the above about Tucker. Ridiculous contract for a guy clearly not – and never will be – worth it. He will never exercise the opt out since no one in their right mind would pay him anywhere close to $60M AAV. This may or may not be the worst signing in MLB history, but it’s certainly in the top 5. He is worthless.
And all the changes to today’s line up yielded another woeful performance against a bad team and we get hammered in game 3 to lose a series at home. We’re a base hit and throwing error in the 9th inning of game 1 from being swept by the Orioles – in LA??!! Gave up 15 hits, 12 runs, 4 of which were home runs, and 6 walks just to add to it. But hey, we got a solid 5 hit game by, oh wait, that was the entire team???!!! It’s pretty bad when you’re out of the game after the top of the first. We scored runs in 5 out of 27 innings played, a total of 3 runs in 2 of 18 innings in the last two (both losses) vs. the team with a pitching staff who is 24th in runs allowed and 26th in opponents BA. They have a run differential of – 25, which was -36 before today’s game. Thankfully, we didn’t play a good team. (Rolls eyes).
