Dodgers News: Chelsea, Freddie Freeman Donate $300,000 to Help Los Angeles Fire Relief
Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star first baseman Freddie Freeman and his wife, Chelsea, are donating $300,000 — $100,000 to each of the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, the Pasadena Fire Department, and the Salvation Army — for wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles.
This comes after the city of Los Angeles has been ravaged by fires over the last three days, with two major ones in the Pacific Palisades and Pasadena areas. Other fires have popped up in West Hills, Calabasas, Studio City, and Hollywood Hills.
The Freemans are giving back to the L.A. community and doing what they can to help out, as have other players on the Dodgers including utility man Chris Taylor.

The CT3 Foundation has been matching donations up to $5,000 in an effort to help with fire relief.
“LA has been our home for the past 10+ years,” the CT3 foundation wrote on Instagram. “We are devastated by the fires ravaging the city and are so grateful that our brave LAFD firefighters are giving it their all to protect us. Please, obey their safety warnings and take care. If you have the resources, consider donating. We love you LA, and we are praying for you. We will match donations up to $5,000!”
