The Los Angeles Dodgers are still looking for their outfielder this offseason and, rather than chasing big names in free agency, could look to the trade market instead.
“At this stage of the winter, it seems that, if the Dodgers are going to address their outfield, it will likely be on the trade market,” The Athletic’s Fabian Ardaya and Katie Woo wrote.
They’re also still looking to get an upgrade in the bullpen, and could very well look at the extensive list of high-leverage relievers available in free agency.
One of these names is Edwin Diaz, though MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand reported he may be outside of the Dodgers’ range this offseason.
“Then there’s Edwin Díaz, the best reliever on the market, who, in addition to having a qualifying offer attached to him, is likely outside of the Dodgers’ desired range.”
