Dodgers Notes: LA Signs Pitcher, Interested in Cody Bellinger, Long Shot for Kyle Tucker?

The Los Angeles Dodgers made an under-the-radar signing this past week, adding left-handed pitcher Antoine Kelly on a minor league deal. The 25-year-old elected free agency from the Colorado Rockies organization this past offseason, and will look to make his MLB debut with the Dodgers this season.

In other news, the Dodgers are reportedly interested in former MVP and fan favorite Cody Bellinger in free agency. Bellinger would fill a huge need in center field, and could also transition to first base in the back-half of his contract when Freddie Freeman retires.

Finally, the Dodgers are reportedly considered a long shot for superstar outfielder Kyle Tucker, as the team is unlikely to give out another 10-year deal. However, if his market doesn’t materialize as expected, the Dodgers could be interested in a shorter-term, higher AAV deal with opt outs.
