Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani Wearing Sling on Left Shoulder Ahead of World Series Game 3

Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani came onto the field wearing a black sling on his left shoulder ahead of World Series Game 3 against the New York Yankees.

The sling was covered by his jacket.

Here’s a video of Ohtani walking out with the sling. He did all his fist bumps with his right hand.

Ohtani is in the lineup and batting leadoff for the Dodgers in Game 3 of the World Series. Ohtani suffered a shoulder injury in the seventh inning of Game 2 while sliding into second base on a stolen base attempt.

Ohtani’s MRI results revealed a subluxation, but no structural damage.
