Dodgers Ticket Prices Skyrocket for Another Shohei Ohtani Celebration

Ticket prices for Thursday night’s Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Cincinnati Reds game are more than five times the amount of tickets for Friday’s game.

Why?

One Shohei Ohtani.

On Thursday, the Dodgers are giving away the first of two Shohei Ohtani bobbleheads this season. The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive the first official Shohei Ohtani Dodgers bobblehead, with 1,700 fans randomly receiving a bobblehead of Ohtani in the away gray jersey. The other ones are Ohtani in the home white jersey.

Thursday is a game that’s been circled on Dodger fans calendars all year long, and it should be a crazy night at Dodger Stadium.

The ticket prices are reflecting that.

On Thursday, the least expensive ticket (non standing-room only) on dodgers.com/tickets is $191. For reference, the cheapest ticket on Friday is $33.

Fans will likely be lined up early on Thursday as if it were a postseason game, with everyone trying to get one of these exclusive bobbleheads.
