Dodgers vs Dbacks: Rojas Returns, Muncy Moved Down in Lineup; How to Watch and More
The Dodgers aim to split the series with the Diamondbacks after an ugly 12-8 loss on Saturday night. They’ll do so with rookie right hander Michael Grove and a new look lineup on getaway day. Among the big changes to the batting order, Miguel Rojas returns after a 5 game absence. The other big note is third baseman Max Muncy has moved down a spot in the order.
Will Smith is out for the day game after a night game.
Dodgers hitters don’t have too much experience against the rookie Nelson who’s making his fifth career MLB start. LA bats are a combined 1-11 off Nelson, with Trayce Thompson having the lone hit. One thing to keep an eye on is the mobility of Miguel Rojas who has been dealing with a groin issue.
Michael Grove makes his second start of the season and looks to do so in a much better health spot than his last outing when he was battling a stomach bug.
