Los Angeles Dodgers star Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Nintendo character Yoshi have come together for a sensational collaboration for the upcoming “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.”
On Tuesday, March 31st, before the Cleveland Guardians, the Dodgers will be giving out a limited-edition bobblehead featuring Yoshi in Yamamoto’s uniform, with his number on the red shell in the back and the Dodger hat.
Yamamoto’s nickname is “Yoshi,” and, given that Nintendo is a Japanese brand, the partnership is perfect, and interest is at a ridiculously high level.
The collectible will be given to the first 40,000 ticketed fans who attend the game, with one item per person.

Hours before the first pitch, tickets for the game start at $160 on MLB.Tickets. The price is quite high considering the Guardians are a middling team without a big market or many star players, and the game is on a Tuesday in the middle of the week.
However, a chance to get an adorable bobblehead inspired by the 2025 World Series MVP is driving up the value of tickets and other purchases as well.
Additionally, there are other workarounds that give fans costly options to pick up a bobblehead if they cannot attend the game.
Yoshi bobblehead resale price
The bobblehead is already available on StockX for $230. Additionally, there are presale listings on eBay that range between $187 to $240.
These are bobbleheads listed as pre-orders, which will be shipped out after they’re picked up at the game.
Surprisingly, the get-in price for the game is lower than the actual value of the bobblehead, which is especially staggering since megastar Shohei Ohtani is pitching and hitting during the game.
Ohtani’s two-way nights are incredibly special and still rare for Dodgers fans, but seemingly, considering the international interest in Yamamoto, who is a star himself, and the rarity for fans who live abroad or won’t be able to attend the game, it is the bobblehead that will be the star of the night.
Ideally, Yamamoto himself would be starting his special collectible night, but this will give him a chance to snag some bobbleheads before they get spread out to the masses.
