The Los Angeles Dodgers took a 3-1 win in their series finale against the San Francisco Giants on Sunday, finishing a three-game sweep.
The Dodgers had a scheduled bullpen day on Sunday, but Emmet Sheehan handled most of the pitching. He had arguably his best outing of the season, completely shutting down the Giants over the course of his 5.1-inning performance.
He only allowed one hit and one walk, keeping the Giants from scoring while striking out nine batters on the afternoon.
