Former MLB relief pitcher Archie Bradley revealed former Los Angeles Dodgers utility man Jake Lamb has officially retired on his Instagram.
The Dodgers signed Lamb towards the tail end of his career, giving him 25 games to kick off the 2022 season. He batted .239 with a .771 OPS through 67 at-bats, hitting two home runs and recording four RBIs before the Dodgers traded him to the Mariners.

“Lambo – From double hot tubing in Visalia, to roommates in the league,” Bradley wrote. “We stood in each other’s weddings, and now stand by each other in retirement! My best friend and brother, all-time teammate and the one who always kept things real and in perspective for us!
“…Congrats on a hell of a career.”

Lamb played 10 seasons in MLB, spending a majority of his time with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He made an All-Star Game with the D-Backs in 2017, the only one of his career. He maintained a .235/.326/.427 slash line throughout his career, hitting a total of 96 home runs and tallying 342 RBIs.
Bradley and Lamb came up through the minors together, and played as MLB teammates from 2015-2020.
After leaving the Diamondbacks for the Oakland Athletics in 2020, Lamb bounced around teams for the remainder of his career, making his last MLB appearance for the Los Angeles Angels in 2023. He continued to play in the minor leagues during 2024 and 2025.

“One of the good guys in baseball,” five-time All-Star Adam Jones commented on the post. “Helluva career my guy. Great to go into battle with you Lamb”
