How Much Are Tickets for Dodgers vs Yankees World Series?

The Los Angeles Dodgers officially advanced to the World Series with a Game 6 National League Championship Series win over the New York Mets. The Dodgers have now returned to the World Series for the first time since 2020, and they will take on the New York Yankees.

The Dodgers and Yankees are two of the most storied franchises, and have one of the most historic rivalries in baseball. The two teams have faced off in the World Series 11 times previously, and the Yankees have won eight of those matchups. It’s been over 40 years since the Dodgers and Yankees faced off in 1981, with the Dodgers claiming that title.



The series also features two of MLB’s biggest stars in Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani. Judge and Ohtani are expected to win the MVP awards for their respective leagues, and were the top two leaders in home runs during the 2024 regular season.

The much-anticipated matchup has resulted in costly tickets for fans and spectators interested in attending the World Series. Game 1 of the World Series will take place on Friday, Oct. 25 and start at 5:08 p.m. PT. Per Vivid Seats, the cheapest tickets are $1,125 for Game 1. Tickets toward the sides of the stadium range from $1,125-$2,000, but tickets in the middle of the stadium range more from $2,000-$4,000. Tickets near or behind home plate cost as much as $15,000-25,000. For Game 2 at Dodger Stadium, Vivid Seats lists ticket prices behind home plate at $48,000.

The series will move to New York for Game 3, where tickets start at $1,032 according to Vivid Seats. Game 4 tickets start at $956, and Game 5 tickets start at $929 for the pinstripe pass.

If the series goes on to Game 6, Vivid Seats lists the tickets starting at $1,268. For Game 7 at the Dodger Stadium, these tickets start at $1,323.
