Shohei Ohtani Suffers Apparent Arm Injury in Dodgers vs Yankees World Series Game 2

Shohei Ohtani has suffered an apparent arm injury in World Series Game 2 for the Dodgers against the Yankees.

He attempted to steal second base, and came up in immediate pain. He struggled to move his left arm.

Here’s a video of the play:

Ohtani drew a walk in the bottom of the seventh inning. He didn’t attempt to steal during Mookie Betts’ at-bat, but then went on the first pitch of Teoscar Hernández’s at-bat. As Ohtani put his arm in the dirt, it appeared to push into the ground, and he was immediately in pain.

When he sat up, he wasn’t moving his arm.

This is a developing story, so stay tuned on dodgersnation.com for the latest updates.
