What’s on the Line This Season?
After back-to-back World Series wins, the Boys in Blue are chasing history.
Not since the New York Yankees of 1998 to 2000 has an MLB team secured a three-peat.
While on this quest, the Dodgers have taken significant public criticism from those in the baseball world who feel the team’s deep pockets are ruining the sport.
Rival players have come to the Dodgers’ defense, though general manager Brandon Gomes said the team isn’t looking for outside validation.
“The validation is winning championships and putting out as good a team as we can each and every year,” Gomes said. “All we’re trying to do is get a little better each and every season with the goal of winning championships.
