Teoscar Hernandez Posts Instagram Story Hinting at Dodgers Signing
UPDATE: Teoscar Hernández is, indeed, back. Click here for full details.
Teoscar Hernández and the Los Angeles Dodgers appear to have reached agreement on a new deal. Hernández posted on his Instagram story with the simple caption: “I’m back.”
Hernández signed a one-year deal with the Dodgers last offseason after his free agency didn’t pan out the way he had hoped. Hernández wanted to re-establish his value this year in Los Angeles, and that’s exactly what he did.
Hernández had a career year across the board, slashing .272/.339/.501 with 33 home runs and 99 runs batted in. He made his second career All-Star team, won the Home Run Derby, and played a pivotal role in the Dodgers’ run to the World Series. In the postseason, Hernández had three home runs, 12 RBIs, and a .769 OPS.
On top of his on the field performance, Hernández became an instant favorite among the fans and in the clubhouse. Hernández brought the energy many people felt this team was missing the last two years, and came up in clutch moments time and time again.
Dodger fans have been clamoring for L.A. to bring back the fan favorite. It appears that move has finally come to fruition, via Hernández, himself.

Great news! Let’s hope it’s true. If so, will the front office sign up Profar? A switch hitting power for right field? Or, will Mookie stay in right and we sign a real good shortstop? How about Dylan Cease or Sasaki? You know we need at least 12 starting pitchers with the way we are plagued with injuries!
