The Los Angeles Dodgers Release Statement in Support of Israel

The Los Angeles Dodgers have joined the many American teams and leagues to release a statement in support of Israel regarding the war between Israel and Gaza.

The statement reads:

“The Los Angeles Dodgers express our deepest sadness over the innocent lives lost to terrorism, and our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to their families and friends. We call for and support every effort toward peace in this world. #StandWithIsrael”

The official MLB account released a statement earlier Monday morning, too. That one read:

“We are horrified by the acts of terrorism committed against the people of Israel that took so many lives. We mourn for all those who lost loved ones and pray for the wounded, their caretakers and those still searching for family and friends. We condemn these acts of hatred and violence and are heartbroken for the people of Israel.”
