Dine LA Restaurant Week

The twice-annual celebration of restaurants is back.
Hundreds of restaurants will have special menus for lunch and dinner providing new and favorite dishes for set prices that start at $15 and climb incrementally higher.

The Television Academy’s celebration of all things TV is back for year two.
“Join us August 14-16, 2026, as we celebrate television’s Emmy-nominated programs, innovative storytellers, and beloved content, providing attendees with an unprecedented opportunity to see beyond the screen and come face-to-face with your favorite shows,” organizers wrote on their website. “You’ll also meet craftspeople and tech pioneers who are changing the ways we experience and enjoy television.”
Highlights include an acting class with Henry Winkler — who notably played an acting coach on the show “Barry” — and panels from the cast and crew of shows like “Beef,” “Shrinking” and “The Bear,” among many others.
Tickets are $300 for a three-day pass, though that figure is $180 for students and $175 for Television Academy members.
One-day passes are $125 for general admission and $75 for students. The first day pass is free for Television Academy members, though the second day costs $125.
If you want priority access to events and other perks, consider a Televerse Insider Pass, which is $400 in general and $225 for Academy members.
‘Top Gun: Maverick’ at the Hollywood Bowl

Come watch a screening of the blockbuster “Top Gun: Maverick” starring Tom Cruise at the Hollywood Bowl.
“After more than 30 years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him,” the Bowl wrote on its website. “When he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: ‘Rooster,’ the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka ‘Goose.’
“Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.”
The film’s score will be performed by a live orchestra conducted by Lorne Balfe, who produced the score for the film.
