Videos Show Intense Wind at Dodger Stadium Where Tree Fell on Car in Parking Lot
Major wind gusts are affecting Southern California Tuesday from the Santa Ana windstorms. The upwards of 60 mph windstorms have led to multiple major fires throughout the area, one in the Pacific Palisades and another in Altadena.
On Tuesday, when the windstorms began, Sue Jo, the senior director of social media for the Dodgers, posted videos of the winds affecting Dodger Stadium.
One video was posted of the foul pole shaking in the wind, with another showing some of the trees shaking back and forth.
Finally, and most unfortunately, Jo posted a photograph of a tree that fell on someone’s car in the parking lot.
The winds began early Tuesday morning and are expected to last through Wednesday night, potentially even Thursday.
More than 30,000 people have been ordered to evacuate in the Pacific Palisades, while at least 2,900 acres have burned there from the devastating fire.
Dodgers Nation wishes the best to everyone in the Southern California area.
