Dave Roberts Reveals When Freddie Freeman is Expected to Return to Dodgers From Injured List
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts revealed Wednesday that All-Star first baseman Freddie Freeman is expected to return to the lineup on Friday, the first game in which he’d be eligible to come off the injured list.

It appears Freeman, who was placed on the injured list last week after slipping in the shower and re-injuring his surgically-repaired ankle, won’t have an extended stay on the IL, and will end up just missing nine games from this injury.
Freeman’s return to the lineup can’t come at a better time for the Dodgers, who have lost four of their last five games and three straight. The Dodgers will play one final game without Freeman on Wednesday, before they’re expected to welcome him back into the lineup at first base.
Kiké Hernández has replaced Freeman at first base since he’s been out. While Hernández has hit four home runs this year, those are his only four hits, as he’s hitting just .111 on the season.
Freeman, on the other hand, has played in three games this season, going 3-for-12 with two home runs and an OPS of 1.083.
Friday is Freeman’s bobblehead night commemorating his walk-off grand slam in the World Series.

Sounds like flip-flops in the shower are in order for Freddie… We don’t need any more slips on a bad wheel…
