Freddie Freeman is an American professional baseball player who currently plays first base for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Freddie previously played with the Atlanta Braves and won a World Series title in 2021. He was born on September 12, 1989, in Fountain Valley, California. Freeman was selected by the Braves in the second round of the 2007 MLB Draft and made his Major League debut in 2010. He quickly established himself as one of the top hitters in the league and has been selected to the All-Star team five times. In 2020, Freeman won the National League Most Valuable Player award after hitting .341 with 13 home runs and 53 RBIs in the shortened 60 game season. He is known for his consistent performance at the plate, excellent defense at first base, and leadership in the Braves clubhouse.

Freddie is married to wife Chelsea Freeman and the couple has three boys. Chelsea operates a line of clothing and accessories called the Chelsea Freeman Collection.
