Dodgers and Giants to Wear Special Caps on LGBTQ+ Night
The Dodgers will celebrate their 9th annual LGBTQ+ Night on June 3rd this year. That will happen with the San Francisco Giants in town. And for the first time ever, that matchup will feature special caps to celebrate the night.
As announced today by the Dodgers, both teams will wear caps to commemorate the night. They will both also wear these hats when the two teams meet up again in San Francisco on June 11th. It will be the first time the teams wear Pride Night caps.
You can see a look at the cap from the Dodgers below.

Dodgers teams president and CEO Stan Kasten issued this statement when the team made the announcement today:
“The Los Angeles Dodgers are proud to stand with and recognize the LGBTQ+ community in Los Angeles and globally. The Dodgers have a history of breaking barriers and we’re proud to be a part of another chapter in MLB history as the Dodgers and Giants each wear their team’s pride caps on June 11. While our organizations have a long-storied rivalry on the field, we stand together when it comes to equality for all.” – Stan Kasten
Fans who purchase a ticket package to this game on June 3rd will receive a Dodger LGBTQ+ game jersey. The team also added that there will be a list of events and special guests taking part in the night. For more information, you can visit dodgers.com/LAPride.
