Dodgers Announce Card Giveaway for ‘One Piece’ Night

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced a trading card giveaway for “One Piece” Night, which comes to Dodger Stadium on July 2.

LA announced their partnership with Toei Animation in May, as well as the second installment.

“We are delighted to welcome back fans to this year’s edition of ONE PIECE Night,” said Lon Rosen, Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer for the Los Angeles Dodgers in a press release. “The Dodgers and ONE PIECE form a seamless collaboration that has quickly made this event into one that cannot be missed.”

The trading card, which depicts “One Piece” main character Monkey D. Luffy winding up to take a swing in a Dodgers jersey and cap, will be given away alongside the co-branded straw hat.

“One Piece” Night was one of the most popular promotions last season, and tickets have already climbed north of $346 for the game. Eiichiro Oda created “One Piece,” which is the best-selling manga of all time. Its anime adaptation is widely considered to be one of the best around.
