Snell didn’t have the best beginning to his Dodgers career, allowing 10 hits, two earned runs, eight walks, and striking out just four across his first two starts in Dodger blue. After four months away from the mound as he dealt with shoulder complications, he has been electric.

Since his early August return, Snell has a 2.41 ERA across 52.1 innings of work with 68 strikeouts and 18 walks. In the postseason, he has been even better.

In three postseason outings, Snell has a microscopic 0.86 ERA across 21 innings of work. He has hurled 28 strikeouts to five walks in those outings, allowing just six hits. His most recent outing featured 10 strikeouts across eight scoreless innings, allowing just one hit all night.

Yamamoto has been incredible all season, taking things to another level in 2025 while embracing his role as the Dodgers’ ace.

He attained a 2.49 ERA during 30 regular season starts, hurling 201 strikeouts to 59 walks. He had a 12-8 record with a bWAR of 5.0 and earned his first All-Star selection. His first outing in Game 2 of the Wild Card round featured nine strikeouts with no earned runs over 6.2 innings. His next outing in the NLDS, however, saw less success.

The Philadelphia Phillies knocked out Yamamoto after 4+ innings as the right-hander allowed three earned runs off six hits, striking out just two batters. His response was a dominant NLCS Game 2, pitching a 111-pitch complete game.

Yamamoto allowed a solo home run on his first pitch of the game, but over the next 110 pitches, struck out seven while allowing just two hits and one walk.
