#Dodgers transfer Dennis Santana (right shoulder) to 60-day DL. Promote Daniel Corcino to 40-man roster, send Pat Venditte to OKC, and call up Corcino to active roster

To fill Santana’s void on the roster, Los Angeles called up Daniel Corcino to the 40 man roster, and subsequently to the active roster. The team also sent ambidextrous pitcher Pat Venditte back to OKC.
Analysis
Injuries have plagued Los Angeles all season, more recently to the staff. Injuries to the pitching core continue to challenge Dave Roberts and the pitching staff. Despite of the many injuries, the Dodgers continue to play well due to their explosion offensively, and timely pitching. The Dodgers could have been written off with the losses of Justin Turner and Corey Seager alone.
The power surge from the Dodger bats has spearheaded their hot play. They have hit 39 home runs in their last 21 games. In addition, the emergence of Ross Stripling and the continued maturation of Walker Buehler have been a much welcomed revelation for the Dodgers.
