Dodgers February Recap: Major Signings, Pitcher Considering Retirement, Yankees Trash Talk, Big Injuries and More

Baseball officially returned in February, as the reigning World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers reported to Camelback Ranch for 2025 spring training.

As the Dodgers reported to camp, the team made multiple new signings, ranging from Kiké Hernández to Clayton Kershaw to some non-roster invites who are already turning heads at camp.

Not everyone from the 2024 World Series roster is back, though, and one pitcher in particular made it known he’s contemplating retirement ahead of the 2025 season.

And finally, while the Dodgers dominated the New York Yankees in the World Series in October, the trash talk hasn’t stopped.

The teams continue to take jabs at each other, with one former Yankee even going as far as saying they should have won and were the better team.
