Clayton Kershaw is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was born on March 19, 1988, in Dallas, Texas. Kershaw was selected by the Dodgers in the first round of the 2006 MLB Draft and made his Major League debut in 2008.

He has since established himself as one of the greatest pitchers of his generation, winning the National League Cy Young Award 3 times and being selected to the All-Star team 9 times. He also received the NL Most Valuable Player award in 2014 and has earned one Gold Glove and 5 ERA titles.

Kershaw is known for his exceptional pitching ability, particularly his devastating curveball, and his competitiveness on the mound. He has been a key contributor to the Dodgers’ success over the past decade-plus, including their World Series championship in 2020.
