The Los Angeles Dodgers have two players on the injured list who are not progressing from their injuries heading into the All-Star break.
Tyler Glasnow, who has been on the injured list since May with back spasms, has finally started throwing, but he is nowhere near a full ramp-up yet.
Glasnow had started a throwing program that ended in the early stages, but he has been throwing the ball lightly since then.
“Tyler has just continued his progression, but really nothing more than kind of playing catch right now as far as lengthening out the distance,” he said.

With Glasnow approaching nearly two months on the injured list, it is a bit concerning that he has not made notable progress, but the Dodgers are known for easing their players through the regular season.
Rather than push him, the Dodgers can simply let his back heal to a good spot and start to see where he is at following the All-Star break.
What is the latest on Will Smith?
The other Dodgers veteran who is lacking in terms of injury recovery is Will Smith, who is up to more than a month on the sidelines at this point.
He was supposed to miss a short time, but as he continued to do baseball activities, he ended up suffering more and more discomfort from his inflamed disk.
Smith is still to stay loose and has started some baseball action after taking a pause, but it is still nothing nearing a ramp-up.
“I think he’s swinging [a bat] but again, it’s not a ‘ramp up’ situation,” Roberts said. “It’s just kind of trying to stay active.”

Considering he is out for so long, he will likely end up needing a rehabilitation assignment in the minor leagues to ease him back into action.
Dalton Rushing, who has dealt with some low moments, is starting to settle in as the full-time catcher.
