Dodgers Introduce Infielder Howie Kendrick (VIDEOS)

After completing the trade last week, the Los Angeles Dodgers formally introduced infielder Howie Kendrick at Dodger Stadium on Friday morning. Kendrick was acquired from the Los Angels of Anaheim after in exchange for Andrew Heaney, who the Dodgers received from the Miami Marlins in a seven-player deal.

At his introductory press conference, Kendrick addresses his time with the Angels and what it was like to be traded. He is also asked about needing to adjust due to now going from the American League to the National League and if he’s looking forward to facing any pitchers in particular.

Plus, Kendrick says he’s very much looking forward to playing alongside Jimmy Rollins and the 31-year-old second baseman touched on the emphasis he’s placed on playing good defense throughout his career.
