Dodgers Lineup: Shohei Ohtani Status Revealed, Michael Conforto Starting

The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres are getting set for their final meeting of the regular season, a three-game series that could ultimately decide the fate of the National League West.

Just one game separates the two teams in the NL West right now, with the Dodgers sitting at 73-55, and the Padres at 72-56.

Left-handed pitcher (and former Padres Cy Young award winner) Blake Snell is taking the mound for LA, sporting a 1.80 ERA across 25 innings this season. He faced the Padres this past Saturday, throwing six shutout innings.

Opposite Snell will be Padres right-hander Yu Darvish, who has a 5.97 ERA across 37.2 innings this year. He faced the Dodgers this past Sunday, allowing four earned runs across four innings of work.

Shohei Ohtani, who exited Wednesday’s game early and missed Thursday’s contest, is back in the lineup for LA, hitting in his normal leadoff spot. Additionally, Michael Conforto is starting at left field.
