Dodgers News: Andre Ethier Begins Rehab Assignment Thursday Night
Dodger fans couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw outfielder, Andre Ethier, taking batting practice with the team before their game against the Giants.
It has been over five months since Ethier has been with the team after going on the DL back in March. But Dre didn’t look like a guy who had been nursing a fractured right tibia after he fouled a ball off his shin. The Dodgers’ right fielder looked like he was ready to get back on the field!

Following Either’s swings in batting practice, neither Roberts nor Ethier would give us any hints on when we could expect his rehab assignment to begin.
That was until the Dodger’s Single-A team, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, announced the big news Thursday afternoon as they tweeted out:
ATTENTION, BREAKING NEWS: @Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier to start tonight at @Loanmart Field. Tickets available!! @SanManuelCasino rehab!

If you're coming, don't be late, as the first inning should give us a matchup of @SDPadres Tyson Ross vs @Dodgers Andre Ethier!

Let’s hope everything goes well for Dre tonight and he can continue to progress towards his goal of returning to the team in mid-September.
