Dodgers Notes: Freddie Freeman’s Ankle Still an Issue, Manny Machado Calls Out LA, NRI to Make Roster?
Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman made his Cactus League debut Thursday, going 1-for-3 with a single.
While Freeman is planning on being the designated hitter on Saturday and (hopefully) the first baseman on Sunday, he made it known after Thursday’s game that his ankle was far from 100 percent — and probably won’t be for the foreseeable future.
In other news, Manny Machado spoke about the Dodgers, saying he can’t wait to take them down this year.
