The Los Angeles Dodgers got a ton of work done during the Winter Meetings, and more moves could be on the way.
The Dodgers reportedly held talks with the Detroit Tigers over a trade for AL Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal.
The Dodgers have plenty of assets to unload in a potential trade for the ace, but Teoscar Hernandez is reportedly not among the candidates.
“Obviously you can never say never on those types of things, but Teo, I know that’s come up,” Dodgers general manager Brandon Gomes told reporters. “That’s not something we anticipate at all.”
Another player the Dodgers are looking at this offseason is Kyle Tucker, and despite recent reports, he could still make his way to LA.
“Signing Tucker would cost them their third- and sixth-highest picks, a seemingly minor impediment. The bigger issue with the Dodgers in a Tucker pursuit would be getting him at their price,” The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal and Katie Woo reported.
