The Los Angeles Dodgers have needs to meet in their team, and could look to upgrade their defense this offseason.
One such way they could do this is by trading Teoscar Hernandez, which The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal and Patrick Mooney reported as an option. The duo stated the Dodgers would look to bring in a center fielder and move Andy Pages to right in the scenario.
The Dodgers brought back Miguel Rojas on a one-year contract Wednesday, and the veteran will likely retire as a Dodger after the season. He will remain with the team, though, joining the organization in a player development role.
Through one month of the offseason, fans are already itching for more Dodger baseball. Come March, they’ll be able to watch some of their favorite players participate in the World Baseball Classic, and Andy Pages joined the mix on Thursday.
The star center fielder is reportedly on Team Cuba’s preliminary roster.
