Dodgers Notes: Trade With Royals, Exciting Roster Move, Blake Snell Replacement Revealed, Ex-LA All-Star Joins Red Sox

The Los Angeles Dodgers recently made a trade with the Kansas City Royals. As reported by Baseball Aruba on Instagram and later by Baseball America, the Dodgers acquired right-handed pitcher Shawndrick Oduber from the Royals in exchange for cash considerations.

The Dodgers also made a roster move on Thursday, hinting at Freddie Freeman’s return to the lineup.

Additionally, the Dodgers decided who their replacement for Blake Snell will be in the near future. Snell landed on the injured list this week due to shoulder discomfort after dealing with the pain for a few weeks.

Finally, a former Dodgers All-Star found himself on the brink of retirement but has now signed a deal with the Boston Red Sox. In his four seasons in L.A., he helped earn two National League pennants as well as an All-Star honor.
