Dodgers Notes: Unfortunate Teoscar Hernandez Update, LA Exploring Blockbuster Trades, Walker Buehler Signs

Fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers had to say goodbye to a free agent fan favorite on Monday, as right-handed pitcher Walker Buehler agreed to a one-year, $21.05 million deal with the Boston Red Sox. The two-time World Series champion and 2024 World Series hero will play with a new team for the first time in his professional career when he makes his Red Sox debut next season.

In other free agent news, the Dodgers and Teoscar Hernández have stopped discussing a contract for the time being, as reported by Dodgers Nation. The Dodgers are also reportedly exploring potential blockbuster trades for outfielders that would replace Hernández in the event he signs elsewhere this offseason.

  1. What is wrong with the Dodgers win the world series with T Hernandez now seen not want sign him this is crazy

    1. Really??? You have no idea what you are talking about nor do you have the slightest idea what the hell is going on in behind closed doors! It’s pretty damn easy to keep spending other peoples money isn’t it? Godfrey, have you noticed how much the Dodgers have spent the last two years? GET A GRIP!

  2. It does seem strange they let Buehler go and now not making progress on Tao. R they sabotaging their lineup?

    1. Are you literally out of your mind? Have you noticed how much money the Dodgers have spent in the last two years! You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about!

  3. All a part of negotiations strategy. Dodger management knows what they’re doing. Let’s not forget…Teo has the right to bend a little bit on his side if he wants to be here so badly, but I’m guessing Scott Boras is playing hardball. At the end of the day, Teo should be controlling his agent to settle for the deal he most wants.
