Walker Buehler is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was born on July 28, 1994, in Lexington, Kentucky. Buehler was selected by the Dodgers in the first round of the 2015 MLB Draft and made his Major League debut in 2017. He has since established himself as one of the top pitchers in the game, known for his exceptional stuff and competitiveness on the mound. Buehler has been a key contributor to the Dodgers’ success in recent years, including their World Series championship in 2020.

Buehler is a two time All-Star and finished third in NL Rookie of the Year voting in 2018. In 2021 he finished fourth in voting for the National League Cy Young award. In 2022, Buehler underwent Tommy John surgery for the second time in his professional career. The first time he underwent the operation was shortly after he was drafted by Los Angeles in 2015.
