Dodgers: The Bullpen is in Trouble, Freddi-E-Motional, Big Game Trayce | Blue Heaven Podcast
Despite taking two of three in Atlanta and winning four of six entering play on this current road trip, some areas of major concern are rising to the top for the Dodgers. And most of the trouble resides in the pitching staff.
Over the weekend, LA lost setup man Dan Hudson for the season after he blew out his knee while trying to field a hit on Friday night. And just before then, starter Andrew Heaney returned to the injured list with a recurrence of inflammation in his left shoulder.
Put that all together and add in the fact that Blake Treinen is still sidelined and Craig Kimbrel has been terribly inconsistent and there are certainly clear areas of need for the Dodgers. However, help is not that far away. In this week’s Blue Heaven, the guys discuss internal options that can help the bullpen and the starting rotation and our latest thoughts on whether the front office will actually be active at this year’s trade deadline.
