Pitching Matchup for Dodgers vs. Rangers

Michael Grove is acting as the opener for the Dodgers in what will be a bullpen game following Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s start being pushed back. Michael Lorenzen pitches for the Rangers, coming in at 3-3 with a 3.05 ERA and 45 strikeouts.

Prediction for Dodgers vs. Rangers

The Dodgers have a well-rested bullpen, so they should have most of their guys available for Thursday night’s game. Lorenzen has had a strong year for Texas, so this should be a good battle.

The Dodgers offense will find a middle ground between their 15-run outburst on Tuesday and two-run performance on Wednesday, while the bullpen will do enough to secure a series win.

  1. Why isn’t Dave Roberts doing something to tweak the lineup of our 3 x MPV’s? Ohtani makes hard contact when he makes contact, but everyone in the world can see he’s pulling off the ball. His swings look stupid.

    1. Roberts’ inability to tweak and his poor decision making has been evident in the playoffs where we currently own a 6 game losing streak. 2 -8 in our last 10 playoff games and 3 – 10 in our last 13 games which dates back to the 2021 NLCS vs. ATL. Every Robets fan boy here defends him saying he’s not playing or pitching or whatever. When things are good, he appears to be a fine manager just steering the ship. When the going gets tough, he’s utterly lost. We’re 9 – 11 in our last 20 games. That’s pathetic. And I don’t want to hear these same fan boys saying, “every team hits rough patches”. Sorry, this has been nearly all season long and not a single thing has been done to address their obvious issues. If he can’t fix it in 162 games, how can he fix it in a best of 5 or 7? Right, he can’t.

      1. Give it a rest. The majority of Dodger fans thinks Roberts is fine and so do the professional analysts (at MLB and ESPN by the way) so how’bout we let Andrew Friedman continue to tell Roberts what to do (He calls the shots you know) and just let the season play out. The only thing Roberts can do is get a medical degree to find out why injuries that never stopped the old timers but put every modern player now days in the emergency room are happening. Give Muncy some Tylenol, tape him up and send him back out. Harmon Killebrew had a perpetually sore back, back in the day (60’s and 70’s), and he hit over 500 home runs for the Twins. These guys get a hang nail and they act like they are in such pain that they might actually be soccer players…lol

  2. I would love to see Walker Buehler put a fastball into the someones ribs. Save it for someone on the PADS, GYROS and DBAGS.
Walker seems like the only one on our team with fire in his eyes. Maybe he can wake UP the rest of our sleepwalkers?

  4. Sorry for duplicate comment. System wouldn’t refresh. BTW, outscored Rangers 18 -8 and lost 2 of 3. Nice.
