Gavin Lux, Evan Phillips React to Dodgers Signing Shohei Ohtani
Shohei Ohtani is a member of your Los Angeles Dodgers. Take that in, embrace it and yes, it’s real!
While fans all across the world were celebrating and reacting to the news, players were doing the same thing. After all, they are fans of the game just like everyone else. Dodgers infielder Gavin Lux was one of the many players that reacted to the news, and he was clearly happy.
Lux is coming back from a torn ACL last Spring Training and is scheduled to be the team’s shortstop for next season. Relief pitcher Evan Phillips was another member of the team to react to the signing of Ohtani, saying that the team is excited to have him in LA via MLB Network Radio.
Phillips is happy that he won’t have to face Ohtani any longer. Plus having Ohtani as a member of the Dodgers drastically improves their chances to win.
The Dodgers are the new hot team around baseball and Ohtani is the head of it all. The greatest free agent of all time is a member of the Dodgers and we can’t wait to it all to get started.

To MORONS J P Morosi, Jason Smith, and even the Dodger Nation web site: You, and other FAKE NEWS reporters/radio talk show hosts/web sites, etc., who did NOT do their due diligence, and erred in reporting false information, opposite of what they were taught to do prior to disseminating critical news reports that Ohtani was signing with the Blue Jays, you have lost ALL of your CRED for EVERY sports fan! SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!
It’s a disgrace what you did professionally in falsely reporting the Ohtani Toronto signing charade, and we will never again listen to any of your reports! You have committed journalistic suicide in the eyes of many, and have totally disregarded journalism’s professional “code of ethics” and the “canons of journalism!!”
Well said Sir!
