Kiké Hernandez Makes Intentions Clear About Potential Return to Dodgers
Los Angeles Dodgers utility man and multi-time World Series champion Kiké Hernández made his intentions clear about a return to Los Angeles in 2025.
On Monday, at an event at Raising Cane’s, the free agent says he would love to return to the Dodgers.
“I would love to be back,” Hernández said. “I truly believe that — we won the World Series a couple days ago — but I truly believe that this team is gonna be even better next year with all the pitching reinforcements.”
Hernández, who is currently a free agent after signing a one-year deal with L.A., wants to return for 2025 as the team looks to repeat as World Series champions.
He then doubled down while speaking to fans.
“I really, really hope that I’m back next year so we can run it back so make sure you guys talk to Friedman and those guys.”
Hernández had a solid regular season, slashing .229/.281/.373 with 12 home runs and 42 RBIs. He then got better in the postseason, as he always seems to do, slashing .294/.357/.451 with two home runs, six runs batted in, and an OPS of .808.
Hernández can play all over the diamond, and the Dodgers have always valued his versatility. This year should be no different.

Keep the same team
Mookie at Shortstop, Bad move. Trade Lux and put Mookie where he belongs … second base. You’ve already got Miggy Ro, Tommy Edmund and CT3 (all better at SS than Mookie) and KeyK in a pinch. I think our FO is brilliant, but this move troubles me.
