Major League Baseball announced the schedule for the first two games of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ NLDS series.
Dodgers NLDS Schedule
The Dodgers still don’t know who they’ll face in the postseason, but MLB released their schedule for the first two games.
Game 1 of the NLDS for the Dodgers will be played on Saturday, October 3rd, either at 1 p.m. PST on Fox if the San Diego Padres advance or 6 p.m. PST on FS1 if the Chicago Cubs advance.
The Dodgers play the winner of the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies.
Game 2 of the NLDS for the Dodgers will be at 5 p.m. PST on FS1 on Sunday, September 4th, no matter who advanced between the Padres and Cubs.
While the rest of the NLDS times aren’t set yet, the dates are. After the first two games, which will be at home for the Dodgers, Game 3 will be on Tuesday, October 6th; if needed, Game 4 is October 7th, and Game 5 would be October 9th.
NL Wild Card update
After Tuesday, September 29th’s Game 1, where the Atlanta Braves won 5-3 over the Philadelphia Phillies, the Dodgers are looking like they will face the Braves.
According to Fanatics Markets, the Braves have a 75% chance of winning the series after Tuesday’s win.
Atlanta holds home-field advantage for the remainder of the series, with both games in Atlanta. The Phillies have a big hill to climb, but it’s not impossible.
Regardless of who wins, the Dodgers should push for a Game 3 that exhausts both teams and gives the nice, rested Dodgers an edge.
