PHOTO: Dodgers’ Hyun-Jin Ryu, Yasiel Puig Hug It Out In Weight Room

With pitchers and catchers set to report to Camelback Ranch in less than two weeks, players are returning to Los Angeles before living in Arizona for the next month or so.

Dodgers rookies Yasiel Puig and Hyun-Jin Ryu both enjoyed great inaugural seasons in the big leagues, finishing second and fourth respectively in the NL Rookie of the Year voting. The Dodgers weren’t expecting to see Puig at the big league level so quickly, but it was unknown what they were getting in the 26-year-old left-handed starter.

Today in the Dodgers weight room the two “hugged it out” as they’re clearly happy to be reunited again. Here’s the picture taken this afternoon at Dodger Stadium via the Dodgers official Twitter account:
