Tony Gonsolin is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was born on May 14, 1994, in Vacaville, California. Gonsolin was selected by the Dodgers in the ninth round of the 2016 MLB Draft and made his Major League debut in 2019. He quickly became a top pitching prospect in the Dodgers organization and made several trips back and forth between the Major Leagues and the minors.

Gonsolin is known for his excellent control and ability to generate swings and misses with his pitches. He has been a key contributor to the Dodgers’ success in recent years, including their World Series championship in 2020. In 2022, Gonsolin established himself as a staple in the Dodgers’ starting rotation and earned his first All-Star selection for the National League squad.
