Should Dodgers Re-Sign Teoscar Hernández? LA Fans Overwhelmingly Say Yes

Teoscar Hernández made it abundantly clear he hopes to return to the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 2025 season. Dodgers fans have also shared their hope that the team brings back the fan favorite outfielder.

In his first season with the Dodgers, Hernández was an All-Star, the first ever Dodger to win the Home Run Derby, and hit a career-high 33 home runs. His final accolade was, of course, the greatest — a World Series ring.

Hernández melted the hearts of fans after giving an emotional speech at Dodger Stadium on Friday.

“You guys made this dream come true. Thank you for making me a World Champion,” Hernández said through tears. “That’s how much I care, how much I appreciate everything that this organization, these fans have given to me. When I show that kind of emotion, that’s when I truly feel it. I’ve been blessed to be here.”

It was evident that Hernández not only enjoyed playing in Los Angeles, but he also felt an emotional connection with the city, the fans, and his teammates.

Hernández has said time and time again that his priority this winter is re-signing with the Dodgers. Whether the Dodgers choose to do so remains a mystery.

“My hopes are really high,” Hernández said of re-signing. “Like I’ve said before, the Dodgers are the priority obviously. I’m going to do everything in my power to come back.”

The Dodgers have to make decisions on several free agents from the 2024 roster including Kiké Hernández, Walker Buehler, Jack Flaherty, and Blake Treinen.

Nevertheless, fans are adamant in their plea with the Dodgers to re-sign the fan favorite outfielder. Dodgers Nation compiled some of the best fan social media posts about Hernández returning to Los Angeles for the 2025 season:

  1. The Dodgers have a winning core and Teo is a big part of it! I would definitely sign him up for 3 years with a incentives heavy contract. We Love You Teo ? Go Blue
