Teoscar Hernández Makes His Intentions Clear About Potential Return to Dodgers
Teoscar Hernández wants the Los Angeles Dodgers to re-sign him this winter. Fans want the Dodgers to pay Hernández. But whether the Dodgers decide to do so, remains a mystery.
The Dodgers outfielder has expressed his desire to remain in Los Angeles for several months now but applied even more pressure on his current team with his comment to the New York Post’s Jon Heyman.
Hernández simply said this about returning to the Dodgers: “One thousand percent.”
It was simple, but it got the point across. Hernández has made it abundantly clear that he wants to wear a Dodgers uniform for years to come. It’s now up to the Dodgers to decide whether they will keep the fan favorite.
Fans adore Hernández for more than his wide smile. He’s adored by Dodgers fans because of his willingness to embrace the clubhouse culture and passion for winning.
However, Hernández’s future with the team hangs in the balance. The Dodgers have let go of fan favorites before. Remember Cody Bellinger, Corey Seager, or Justin Turner?
The Dodgers will have to make several decisions regarding current members of the roster, including key starters like Hernández, Jack Flaherty, and Walker Buehler.
Although Los Angeles already has a star-studded lineup, there has been speculation that the Dodgers are looking to sign a high-profile shortstop in the offseason. Two star shortstops that are reportedly on the Dodgers’ radar are Willy Adames and Bo Bichette.
President of baseball operations Andrew Friedman and general manager Brandon Gomes will be tasked with making some tough decisions after the World Series is over.
Champagne showers could be in store for the Dodgers, but regardless of the Fall Classic outcome, the team will have to decide whether Hernández should stay or go.
Could we really picture him in anything but Dodger Blue? No matter what the fans want, the front office will decide what’s best for the team moving forward.
But we can still hope that it means Hernández stays in Los Angeles.

His lack of hustle chasing balls and running the bases is a concern.
I would like to have him back on a 2 year deal with a club option for a 3rd year. He and his agent are most likely seeking a longer term contract. We will see how much he wants to stay a Dodger.
Kirk has been doing great as a blue jay..he may not be tall and slender..but there are tall overweight players as well…he can catch the ball..he can hit the ball..as big as vladdy is..he isnt a fast runner..my opinion
Dorothy I fully agree. KIRK is a fantastic catcher. His defensive metrics are right there with the best catchers in baseball. His recieving is as good as Russ Martin’s. Quite frankly, I’m glad to get rid of stone hands Jansen.

I think he brings good chemistry to the clubhouse, strikes out a bit much, but overall I think a two year deal with an option for a third year would be appropriate, by then Daulton should be more than ready to come up
