Valentine’s Day Events
L.A. Matchmaking Festival
Date: Saturday, February 14 at 12 PM
Location: Benny Boy Brewing- 1821 Daly St., Lincoln Heights
Leave the dating apps behind on Valentine’s Day and head to the largest matchmaking festival in the United States. More than 1,000 singles will gather for a fun opportunity to meet new people and possibly find a strong connection. There will be speed dating, tarot card readings, instructor-led line dancing and more. Couples are also welcome at the event and are encouraged to serve as wingmen and wingwomen for the singles.
This is a 21+ event, and you must RSVP to attend.
Valentine’s Day at Grand Central Market
Date: Saturday, February 14 from 12 PM – 3 PM

Grand Central Market is hosting a bunch of fun Valentine’s Day activities that are perfect to enjoy with your significant other, friends or family. There are free 2000s-style portraits, chain stitching by Large Lemonade, tote bag embroidering by L.A. Chainstitch and free mini bouquets from Snaggletooth Studio.

NBA All-Star Weekend
Dates: February 12-15, times vary per event
Location: Intuit Dome – 3930 W Century Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90303
NBA All-Star Weekend will be hosted at the Intuit Dome all weekend long. There will be a variety of events for NBA fans to enjoy, ranging from the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday to the NBA All-Star Championship Game on Sunday.
There will also be appearances from other LA icons like Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts, who is coaching one of the All-Star Celebrity teams. Don’t miss your chance to watch the NBA’s best players, multiple rising stars and other celebrities competing throughout the weekend.

LA Unified 5K Health and Wellness Festival
Date: Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Location: Dodger Stadium – 1000 Vin Scully Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012
This is a commemorative 5k walk and run that will focus on resilience and healing in honor of the one year anniversary of the LA fires. There will be free dental screenings at the L.A. Trust Tooth Fairy event, special guest appearances and more for participants to enjoy.

2026 Winter Corgi Nationals
Date: Sunday, Feb. 15 from 11 AM-4:30PM
Location: Santa Anita Park
If you love Corgis or have one of your own, don’t miss the 2026 Winter Corgi Nationals happening at Santa Anita Park on Sunday. The main event will be a Corgi race, but the festival will also include food and drinks, family-friendly activities and a Corgi-Centric Vendor Village.

Cultural & Community Events
Mardi Gras at the Original Farmers Market
Dates: Saturday & Sunday, Feb. 14 and 15, Fat Tuesday, Feb. 17
Location: 6333 W. 3rd St., Los Angeles, CA 90036
The magic of New Orleans is coming to Los Angeles this weekend and will continue on Fat Tuesday at the Original Farmers Market. There will be authentic Zydeco and New Orleans bands, a Mutti Gras Pet Parade & Costume Contest, a beignet pop-up tent, gumbo and jambalaya available for visitors to enjoy.

Westfield Topanga Lunar New Year
Date: Sunday, February 15 at 1PM
Location: 6600 Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Canoga Park CA 91303
Celebrate the Year of the Horse at Westfield Topanga’s celebration this Sunday. Enjoy a traditional Lion & Dragon dance performance, admire the beautiful decor installations and participate in the red envelope giveaway. Red envelopes will be available on a first-come, first-save basis and could anything from gift cards to gold coins.



Casa Kyoto: Craft & Design Forum
Date: Saturday & Sunday, Feb. 14 and 15 from 10 AM to 4 PM
Location: George J. Doizaki Gallery – 244 S. San Pedro Street, Lobby, Los Angeles, CA 90012
The Japanese American Cultural and Community Center is hosting Casa Kyoto this weekend, which is an art gallery featuring 16 master artisans from Kyoto, Japan. Many of these artists are visiting the United States for the first time and will be available to meet during the event.
Visitors will be able to purchase some the artwork, which will range from $23 to $63,000 per piece.
