Video: Dodgers’ Hyun-Jin Ryu Shows Off Singing Talents For Charity
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu went back home to South Korea this off-season and has been busy doing multiple things. From playing first base at a charity event to shooting several commercials and winning South Korea’s “Athlete of the Year”, Ryu took his star status to the next level this winter.
However, in possibly his greatest venture this winter, he decided to partner his charity, HJ99 Foundation , with Cube Entertainment to make two seasonal songs for charity and even sings on the track.
In his first season with the Dodgers, Ryu was beloved by his teammates and his performance on the field had Dodger fans excited about what lies ahead in his young big league career. Ryu went 14-8 with a 3.00 ERA and finished fourth in the Rookie of the Year voting, even winning Game 3 of the NLCS against the St. Louis Cardinals.
For now, hopefully Ryu sticks to baseball after the first music video was released.
